How do I book a viewing appointment?

Send an email to propertiesforsale@rcdsb.on.ca indicating the property you are interested in. Please provide a day time contact phone number so that we may be able to better accommodate your availability.

How do I find out what the Property Taxes are?

School properties are exempt from municipal taxes when owned by a board of education. The Board is not in a position to speculate on what the property taxes will be when/if the Property is owned by a party other than a school board. You will need to make your own inquiries in this regard.

Will the Board Re-Zone the property? 

It is the responsibility of any interested party to determine the zoning of that property, the Board makes no representations or warranties in that regard.

How does the School Board determine a value for the listed properties?   

The Renfrew County District School Board (the "Board") has a statutory obligation to sell the Property at fair market value. In this regard and for due diligence purposes, the Board secured the services of a certified commercial appraiser to prepare an appraisal of the fair market value of the Property, based upon likely and reasonable uses of the Property. The Board does not propose to share the appraisal. It is suggested that interested parties conduct their own due diligence in this regard.
